About Gezelo
Gezelo was born from the idea that planning a trip should be part of the experience, not just a list of tasks to complete before leaving.
Where the name comes from
It was inspired by the Dutch word gezel, connected to the idea of companionship — someone who travels by your side.
It also lies at the root of gezellig, one of those typically Dutch words that is difficult to translate in full, but speaks of warmth, connection, companionship and the feeling of being perfectly at ease in that moment.
But something was missing.
Brazilian care
With Brazilian roots, we wanted to bring a little Portuguese into this story too.
That is where zelo came in.
Zelo means care. It is attention to detail. It is preparing something thoughtfully because it matters.

A name created to represent exactly what we want to be during a trip: a presence by your side, taking care of the details without taking away your freedom to discover the way.
Companionship for the whole journey
In Gezelo, you can organise places, reservations, ideas, dates and everything else that is part of a trip. But we want to go beyond planning.
Because travel is not only about reaching the places on the itinerary. It is the plans that change, the café you find by chance, the photos, the small discoveries and the moments that become memories.
